A machine can catch a hand, clothing or hair in a fraction of a second. This course explains a machine’s danger zones, guards and safety devices, and why they must never be bypassed.

What the law says

In Quebec, the ROHS requires a machine’s danger zone to be made inaccessible by a guard or safety device; CSA Z432 is the reference standard for machine safeguarding.
